Kafka on the Shore is one of Murakami’s most well-known works, like Norwegian Wood and 1Q84. It looks like RM really likes his books because Soompi, SBS Australia, and Koreaboo all mentioned him as an author that he’s read. In the book, BTS share stories of their journey so far through more than three years of in-depth coverage and interviews conducted by journalist Myeongseok Kang, an expert in the K-pop and Korean pop culture arena.

The members of BTS: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, have achieved a lot and won numerous awards; both domestically and internationally. Also notable is the love that they receive from their fans, ARMY—which the members reciprocate, often saying how grateful they are. A book that #jhope introduced during his Vlive. The latter won the Man Asian Literary Prize and SBS Australia reported in 2018 that RM read this book. The scant available details about the book were read as clues by both fans of Swift and BTS. The author and subject were initially set to be revealed on 13 June: 13 is Swift’s favourite number, but the date is also the 10th anniversary of BTS’ first single, No More Dream.

Jin has not only advocated for a good balance in life but has also strived to practice it in his life. BTS members have busy and erratic schedules and whenever they do get some downtime, Jin uses it to recuperate to the best of his abilities and he has also advised ARMYs to do the same. The book tells the story of the reunion between two lovers who made a promise of love but had to part. The book has two volumes Rosso, written from the female protagonist’s perspective and Blu, written from the male protagonist’s perspective. SUGA has also used the camel metaphor from the book to make Jungkook feel better, which can be seen in an episode of BTS' documentary series, Break The Silence. The Connect BTS e-book is a comprehensive guide to the entire BTS Connect project where the artists have been introduced along with the works they have contributed to the project.
