The Kadet is among the least expensive bags in our review, but it isn't cheap either. If you're looking for a daily bag to carry your essentials in style, we think it is well worth the price. However, if you need a bigger bag, there are options with greater capacity and a lower price. Conclusion currently I use the Niko Messenger Bag by Chrome, and though I really like it, I find myself wishing for a smaller and a lighter bag.

EDC Sling For Cycling Recommendations? Any Small EDC Sling For Cycling Recommendations?
I’m thinking of this bag as a “sling plus.” It’s not as minimal as the Aer City Sling, not as big as a Chrome Vale. It is a perfect day bag if you don’t carry much. I found the 9-liter limit a strength in the long run. A camp by the Linn of Dee was lovely, beautiful sunshine at sunset and a few whiskies were had, it also is in the middle of a figure of eight route wise so you have options. Anyway, I will spare you an explanation on each except for the last photo of my son riding his wee bike. When ever he’s out he goes off exploring, riding as far as he can even into the dark. Makes me proud to think he’s got that sense of adventure already in him, not yet 2 but with a massive appetite to explore.

Is the Chrome Industries Kadet a sling bag? A messenger bag? We’re not 100% sure what to call it (the folks at Chrome say it’s a messenger sling. Slingenger?). Either way, we’ve enjoyed testing this 9L bag as a daily driver in the Motor City for two weeks.
