About this deal
A wall safe might be right for you if you have a small floor plan and can make modifications to your home. Wall safes can hide behind doors or portraits without taking up too much floor space. If you do opt for a wall safe, make sure that it’s mounted between the studs in the wall. Look for a unit that not only features double steel wall construction with fire-resistant insulation, but also a padded bottom to protect your items. My safe came with Lag Bolts to bolt down to the floor. Keep in mind, if you opt to bolt this safe down, it immediately voids the "water" portion of the warranty! I did not know this. But, I am sure that with some high quality silicone a person can still make sure that water will not get in though I doubt that Sentry would recommend this. I do not live in a flood prone state or area so that is the least of my worries.

Impact Resistant: ETL verified impact resistant to provide reliable protection in the unpredictable conditions of a fire
You can store up to 40 unique prints in it too. This makes Verifi a smart choice for offices, stores, or other facilities with multiple users who all need access. If you are like me, you have debated buying a home safe for awhile. You have researched. Walked by them and tested handles in the store. Looked at the price. Then looked at the price again and decided you can wait. I've done all of that for too many years now and finally decided to go ahead and spend the money and buy one. I couldn't find any that were "affordable" that didn't have some kind of poor review. I think people spend the money, get the safe and realize that what they got was a safe. And that it's not much "fun". For additional questions regarding delivery, please visit Business Center Customer Service or call 1-800-788-9968.
Sentry SFW123GDC Fire and Waterproof Safe with Dual Digital
There are a couple of small "bins" inside the door for small things like rings, thumb drives etc. Also, there are key hooks! The LED lights that come on when you open the safe are awesome! They completely light up the inside of the safe well enough to see everything inside. You can program them to stay off, stay on for 30 seconds or 60 seconds. The manual states that if you set them to 60 seconds it will drain batteries faster. But, I don't care... I want the light on. The manual also states not to ever use rechargeable batteries. I'm not sure why. I emphasize “properly installed” because you have to drill the holes to use the included mount kit to bolt down the safe. If not done correctly, you can lessen the fire or water protective quality of the safe. In this case, that’s a particular concern because SentrySafe notes (in the fine print, of course) that, if you do choose to drill, the water resistant warranty no longer applies. I think such a significant disclosure And warning should have been included in the product description, but not a single word! I would have selected a different product.
You can bolt it down using the included kit, but that is not required. It's a bit pricey compared to similarly sized safes, but because it protects against multiple elements and has multiple layers of protection, we think it's well worth the cost for the added peace of mind. If you are going to buy one safe for your important documents and valuables, this is an excellent choice.
