About this deal

Tanqueray No. 10 Gin launched in 2000. At the time, it was a bold departure from the Tanqueray Gin standard. At the time, Tanqueray Ten might have been considered contemporary in style. Tanqueray No. TEN is distilled four times with the classic gin botanicals of refreshing juniper, peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet liquorice. Fresh whole citrus fruits and chamomile flowers are then added to create an exceptional taste. Tanqueray Rangpur Gin was introduced in Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. in the summer of 2006. It has a strong citrus flavor, the result of rangpur limes, ginger, and bay leaves added during the final distillation process. It is produced at 82.6 proof (41.3% abv) and is now available throughout the United States and Canada. It is named after city of Rangpur from where the names of the citrus also came. Chabo, Elena (24 February 2021). "Tanqueray launches 0.0% alcohol version of its iconic gin". Good Housekeeping . Retrieved 7 October 2022.

I waited a long time to try this gin since i do not like the original Tanqueray which has been in production nearly 200 years. Nose: Perfumed, aromatic nose with notes of tangy grapefruit zest, creamy custard and clean juniper.Tanqueray No. TEN Gin is distilled four times with Tanqueray's standard gin botanicals of refreshing juniper, peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet liquorice. Whole citrus fruits, including limes, oranges and pink grapefruit are then added with chamomile flowers to Tiny Ten, the still from which the liquid gets its name. It is best enjoyed with premium tonic water, plenty of ice and a wedge of pink grapefruit or with dry vermouth and a twist of pink grapefruit in a perfect martini.

When summer heat creeps in, the antidote is an ultra-refreshing cooler. This drink takes advantage of the gin’s herbal side, freshening it up with some cucumber. The infusion takes a little time but you’ll be very pleased with the results. You can experiment a bit with your herb selection, perhaps adding a bit of dried lavender, rosemary, and/or thyme. No 10 is now one of my two favorite gins with Citadelle Jardin dete’ just edging it out as the best (tried so far) for my taste buds.a b c Stevenson, Seth (11 July 2005). "Ready to Tanqueray?". Slate Magazine . Retrieved 25 September 2020. Tanqueray London Dry Gin is the original product that was launched in 1830; its key botanicals are juniper, coriander, angelica root and liquorice. It is variously sold as: Tanqueray No. TEN is the only gin in the prestigious globally-acclaimed San Francisco Spirits Hall of Fame. This award-winning gin is distilled in small batches with whole citrus fruits.

Charles Tanqueray created the world's finest London Dry Gin in 1830 and it is made today to the same classic, timeless recipe. Tanqueray No. Ten was created with this heritage in mind and set the standard as one of the very first ultra-premium gins.A lot has been said about Tanqueray No. TEN gin since it took the drinks market by storm in 2000. Some believe it’s named after the number of botanicals in its secret recipe. Others contend that it’s an ode to the metric system, or a perfect rating (this option is persuasive). The “ten,” however, is actually owed to the mighty little piece of machinery that produced the first batch of this iconic gin. I’ve tried them all in my search to find the perfect tasting Dry Martini. From Monkey 47 buzz to several creative botanicals chemistry. Tasted more than 20 gin options and in the end Tanqueray n°10 is my holy grail choice. If you want THE dry martini, it scores 10.
