About this deal

PB Premiere Amazing Grace* (a spot-on dupe for Philosophy's AG, it just doesn't have as good longevity and sillage). They have a clean, soapy smell, so they are perfect for spraying right after showering and moisturizing your skin. The scent does start off strong but once it dries down you're left with a much softer scent. Although it does fade a bit it does linger and last all day on me. Blind bought it in full size because it was hyped as an amazing work-safe perfume.. But apparently it smells downright jasmine and very linear. I don't like it. Poor projection with even poorer sillage. But I still use it by layering it with other perfumes or cheap flowery colognes I have.

I like the citrusy opening. It's pretty, but meh. Not my thing. Also it lasts nothing on me, maybe 1h. I tried a sample of their face cream a while ago and I'm not sure if it's the exact same fragrance, but it's definitely similar.A delicate frag you can wear to work, and is definitely layerable. I wear this alone or with Skin by Parfums de Coeur (which is also itself layerable) I've never tried or smelled the EDP, so I can't compare them. But when I do, I'll write an update. I'm not sure if I'll like the EDP better because it was a rose note, and I'm not a fan of a rose accord. But we'll see! I tested this today while helping teach Sunday school (because, c'mon...it's only fitting), and it's a good choice for situations like that. I doubt anyone smelled anything, and if they did, it would've been just subtly during a hug or something.

I feel on these weird days Amazing grace suits perfectly. People around you won't notice it as a scent, but rather notice you smell good, instead of your perfume smelling good. It gives a clean sensation with lots of lemons and tiny tiny apple accord, but very soon the lemony edges are tamed down by some feminine florals with rose and jasmine and fluffed with clean musk.

This is a review of the EdP, not the EdT or “fragrance spray” or whatever Philosophy used to call it. (I have an older bottle, BTW .. with dense sparkles at the bottom that disperse toward the top of the bottle, circa 2014-2015.. ish.) I'm not usually a person who changes fragrance with the weather, but I do like the EDP when the weather is not hot or humid. The EDT is great for me on the hot days. Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). It’s definately not my favorite but mind you I usually only wear gourmands/oriental/spicy/green scents. I’m not really a lover of fresh scents but I grab this after a shower for the feeling of extra freshness or on a productive day. It does have a very sharp opening still, but it settles down after a minute or two. I got it from Sephora set as mini bottle and I loved it so much as after I finished, I went ahead to bought full set of big bottle plus body whipped cream and shower gel in same line.

Top is super short-lived. Citrus for literally the first 2 seconds .. so fleeting I can’t really distinguish which citrus is present. (If I had to guess, mostly bergamot?) There’s also a brief, spicy, slightly green floral note. The rest of the wear is a fairly linear mix of slightly sweet florals and powdery musk. It definitely fits in with Philosophy’s “Grace” line .. that signature “clean”/musky accord forms the base of the fragrance. It's perfect for an everyday signature scent, and for the workplace if you're not allowed to wear strong scents. I worked in F&B while I was wearing this as my signature scent, and it worked great. The sillage is pretty intimate, so you would have to stand very close to me to smell it. But you can smell it easily on yourself and your skin all day -- it doesn't just disappear into nothing. For the price point and for being an EDT, I think longevity is great! This was always my signature scent until a couple of years ago when I started to get into more niche fragrances and wanted to find something a little more sophisticated. I’m very prone to headaches and this gives me headaches sometimes (most fragrances do, so nothing special for me). Added thoughts...I have been using this almost exclusively since I bought it!!!!! It is my go to for everyday. Absolutely obsessed with this! :) The EDT and EDP of this are completely different! The EDP is very citrus forward (grapefruit to me specifically) versus the EDT which is lighter, cleaner and more floral. Niche fragrance lovers and perfume snobs love to get their dander up over this one. The truth is, most people just want to smell good! They don't want to set off five alarm bells with some edgy, fetid, or weird perfume brew.
