My first decarb went fine. Took about an hour and 15 minutes, as expected, for the light to turn from red to green for about 3 grams of flower. But then I tried the infusion and the NOVA went on for over 2 1/2 hours and would not shut off. Manual say press the button and it will go to green if you want to manually stop it. No deal. Had to unplug it. Automated controls eliminate weeks or months of apprenticeship training required for manually controlled hydrocarbon systems.
Today I’m trying another decarb, this time with just one gram of flower. Should take even less time than my first batch. But no, it’s been close to 2 1/2 hours and the light is still red and I can’t turn it off by pressing the button.
