This Funko Pop is based on jiangshi, also known as a Chinese hopping vampire. It's a reanimated corpse in legends and folklore that sleeps during the day but comes out at night to drain the life energy of its victims. These frightening creatures have inspired an entire genre of literature and movies in Hong Kong and East Asia. What sets this gem apart from its contemporaries is its sheer authenticity and commitment to quality. It’s hard to tell alone by the moulding on an old Pop if it is fake or not, but you can look at the other ways on this list to cross reference it. Elvis sidestepped this pitfall beautifully. Even today, over six decades later, his renditions of classic holiday tunes stand out, offering a fresh perspective that’s both delightful and daring. The old Pop’s moulding was really basic – uniform stance with arms to the side and arced legs. The newer ones are more dynamic and detailed, mainly due to the continuing improvements of the plastic moulding that is used. If you’re an Elvis fan without this album in your collection, you’re missing a significant piece of the King’s musical journey.

New Pops are amazingly painted, however you can get some quality control issues even with Funko (sadly), where paint is on parts it shouldn’t be – but this is very minimal. Indications of fake Pop Vinyls are clear when you can see that areas have not been painted the right colour, or correctly. For example, hairlines on the rear of the figure have been poorly painted (patches missing) or not painted at all in some cases. Also, the bottom of the feet that have not been painted are signs of forgery.
