Though with a theoretical Legends collection it would be nice to see the likes of the Tron bonne spinoff. I'd say take a point off for not including Network transmission but other than that good collection. I stopped playing these after the third so this time I'm gonna go through the whole series. Are the different versions like Pokémon, i.e the same campaign with few variations, or are they really distinct? Considering that previous Mega Man collections are still readily available, I'm holding out for a reprint and sale.

I kind of prefer the script being a little rough tho, I think it adds to its retro charm. Pretty cool that almost every Mega Man series is now available on Switch. Only missing Legends and Star Force now.

Update [Wed 14th Dec, 2022 02:05 GMT]: Capcom's second trailer has revealed Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch and other platforms on 14th April 2023. If there was an option to reduce the random encounter rate, I think I would be much more interested in this collection. I remember playing the first game about a year ago and not being able to take like 10 steps without getting into an encounter. My only hope is that the game will get some sort of update that allows you to manually reduce the number of encounters. I had the first game and I remember enjoying it but being ready for it to be over (can’t actually recall if I completed it or not). I’d give one of them a go on Switch online (which clearly won’t happen now) but don’t think I’ll invest in the collection. Super Mario 3D All Stars is a rare example of the kind of release that @Don was referencing, but sadly Nintendo doesn't do this enough. Acein210 they still have to make Legends 3 first.
