How do you think Amaya felt when we arrived at Rainbow High? Have you ever been in situation where you had to join a group that already existed? If so, did that make you feel? Her appearance is similar to Blue Skye's appearance from the similar franchise Rainbow Surprise; because of this, she might be inspired by Blue Skye. Just like Poppy and Daria, Rainbow Dream and Poppy connect strongly with their love of music, with all five of them working together on their Radiant Week project and even earning a special reward for it. Both being music focused, Poppy and Daria get along well and have lots in common. Combining their skills, they have worked together on many music themed projects in their school, including their Radiant Week projects.
Bella and Gabriella became friends when they teamed up for Radiant Week, which they won and got the opportunity to spend some time at Pacific Coast High. They're later seen cheering in the crowd along with Sheryl and Finn in "Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 2" and "Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 3". Ruby is characterized by her casual, outgoing personality. Though not as much of a tomboy as Jade Hunter, she has a rather sporty style and a very informal demeanor that makes it easy for her to get along with just about anyone. She strongly values friendship and is always the first to hype up her girls or help them step out of their comfort zones. This also makes her an effective mediator when tensions run high in her runway group due to project-related stress. Despite her usually friendly attitude, however, her devotion to her friends can cause her to be stubborn and resistant to change in their dynamics. Ruby and Violet are revealed to be teaming up and getting Georgia a pair of heels from The Rainbow Union for the holidays.She is proclaimed to be the most talented first-year fashion designer that Rainbow High has seen in a long time. With the story still going on, Violet reveals to her and Skyler that Sunny didn't steal anything and was instead just exchanging it. This makes Ruby and Skyler apologize, with Sunny accepting it and them all hanging out together shortly after. Anderson is a surname meaning 'son of Andrew', though it was presumably given to Ruby as a reference to the creator of Rainbow High, Michael Anderson.
Although they don't interact much, they are still friends since they hang out with each other often in their group of friends. Just like Poppy, Sunny is close with Skyler due to the three of them being roommates. The two are frequently seen together and enjoy each other's company, with Skylar helping cheer Sunny up on her first day of school. Being accompanied by Skyler, they help clear Neon Shadow's equipment from the stage, with both of them feeling better that none of the twins are sabotaging performances anymore. Like the other girls in the group, Bella is extremely talented and artistic, having won an few awards in her chosen field. Though she has no qualms about boasting her achievements, she's also a friendly and outgoing person who easily befriended her roommates and hypes them up when they need it. She's also easily excitable and somewhat impulsive, but overall a team player who works well under pressure. In a similar vein to Jade, Ruby was heavily reserved and put off by Amaya when she first came to Rainbow High, seeing her as Bella's replacement. Her opinion was mostly changed however when Amaya introduced her to the Color Change Chamber, which made Ruby realize Amaya's talents and skills she can truly bring to the group.
