About this deal
So, having said all that, how similar to the EDT is it and do I like it as much? I would say this is the same scent as the EDT but it has some notes more amplified, tweaking it a bit and slightly altering it from the EDT Review is for my own future reference - I got this as a sample from Sephora. I love the vibes of this company, the post cards they include with their scents really tell a story. However, I feel like this fragrance is too masculine for me and is just okay. This would be nice on a man, but it's not a scent that would make me want to keep sniffing him or want to jump his bones lol
Vanille Insensée Atelier Cologne for women and men

There's a little something right beside it, that to me translates as musk. It reminds me of Dior Hypnotic Poison in that way. It's definitely not a sweet, edible vanilla. It's more like a vanilla-scented incense with a little bit of extra spice. This perfume gets very close to the natural scent of vanilla, with woody and resinous undertones, so it is ideal for men that are curious and would like to try a vanilla perfume, but, also for women that don’t like cloying scents.
Vanilla Incense Benefits: Mood-Boosts, Mindfulness and More
The EDP adds depth, density and darkness to the EDT, making it feel more full bodied, ambery and woody. Rich, spicy vanilla in the least gourmand way. A touch of complexity. Impressive longevity (on me, at least!). Exciting yet low key. However, not all incense is created equal. Some can have harmful side effects, especially if you’re not careful about which type you choose. To me it is a musky, earthy, warm, but really very green clean scent. Very strange and kind of neat- a warm, yet soapy, clean, smell. The natural scent of vanilla is creamy, it provides warmness to any essential oil or perfume combination. This perfume obviously mixes with my chemistry quite differently than others — on me, after a mildly pleseant citrusy vanilla opening, the jasmine really comes in and becomes an equal partner with the vanilla. On me, it's a heavily floral vanilla -- like, more floral than vanilla. As it dries down, the vanilla-amber accord takes centre stage, but instead of being predictably sweet and syrupy, it is salty and animalic. It is an objectively excellent amber accord, bolstered by woody notes. Sillage is moderate and, unusually for Atelier Cologne scents, it is long-lasting.
