If you are careful with this line, it should last a long time. Don’t be tempted to overload it or you will ruin the line. Apart from that, it is a solid little retractable washing line, and we like it. Its a matter of personal preference whether you choose a single or double lined washing line, but the available space you have for hanging washing will likely force your hand. Double-lined just means you have two lines that come out of one body which means you have double the hanging capacity. They are a fantastic invention, but they do come at a higher cost, so it’s worth considering how many lines you need before you buy one. Wall mounted washing lines are unlikely to have as much drying space as rotary lines, and are therefore better suited to smaller families. Given that this is such a compact line, with quite a large weight capacity, it does still offer good value for money, you just need to take care of it so that it will last. Nevertheless, it’s still inexpensive when compared to the premium Brabantia line.
