This is Brendan's story in his own words of his career going from a teenager to how Mrs Brown's boys came about.

The show won the comedy award at the NTAs five times won three BAFTA Scotland awards and in 2012 won a BAFTA TV Award for Best Situation Comedy.

The youngest of ten children from a poor family in Dublin, his father died when he was just nine years old. I also liked the fact he mentioned his children but also keep them private as best as he could though out the book. You learn a lot though out this book of how he become who he is today and what he took for him to get there. It feels very fresh to read something that feels like having a conversation with the author, Brendan O'Carroll has managed to do that perfectly here.Brendan shared a clip on the show’s official Instagram page in which he is seen sitting in a dressing room looking at his phone, before announcing to someone off-camera: ‘Well, the book seems to be going well. A lovely funny book about Brendan O’Carroll’s life up to the point where he begin’s the Mrs Brown’s Boys TV show.

He is best known for playing Agnes Brown in Mrs Brown's Boys, which won the best sitcom BAFTA in 2012. These include The Course (1995), Grandad's Sure Lilly's Still Alive (1997), The Last Wedding (1999), Mourning Mrs. I love Mrs Browns boys and this book did not disappoint what a fascinating life he has had and it’s so good to learn more. Wow this book was so interesting to read and I learnt a lot more about the person who plays Mrs Browns Boy.

A popular comedian in Ireland since the early 1990s, O'Carroll is best known internationally for portraying the foul-mouthed Irish matriarch Agnes Brown in Mrs. More Hamburger icon An icon used to represent a menu that can be toggled by interacting with this icon.
