Because of the burned pattern on the glass and lack of fiber, this mousepad is more precise and smoother than a normal cloth pad. I've never run out of room on it, and, as a result, my formerly ever-present paranoia that I'm going to run off the pad, which previous pads instilled into me, is gone. My previous Endgame pad was also very easy to keep clean compared to a cloth pad (I often eat at my desk and its still very clean after 2 years), but with this glass pad you barely need to try to keep it clean.Tip is actually to try and be here as close to opening as possible, as it is a popular place and the seats up top fills up rather quickly. I'm also using a 240hz display and the sense of mouse tracking I get feels so pristine it's hard to really put into words. Having cats means that I frequently need to wipe fur and other foreign substances away from it, which over time causes damage to these pads.
