Several standard black records in my collection don’t hold a candle to the quality of this picture disc. Of course it'll all depend on your turntable setup, but I'm pretty sure anyone with a half-decent setup will find the same results I have. His full length debut on Daptone Records is equal parts raw feeling and elegance and exudes confidence and charm.

Total runtime of B6 is given with 6:11 but because both tracks are seperated with silence in between the tracklist is reflecting the actual song durations.

Over its 40 years in business, PIAS has grown to be one of the largest independently-owned music groups in the world, carving out its own in-house recorded music division PIAS [Recordings]. Now with a massively successful US tour opening for sweet soul darlings Thee Sacred Souls behind him, 2023 is sure to be a propitious year for Daptone's newest signee. The group went on hiatus in August 2006 and came together again in November 2010, embarking on a tour for the following three years. Having songs like Forest so close to the center is a disservice to the album and it deserves to be shown in all it's glory. Contraband contradictions, concocting contractions conceding to caucasian caucases causing casual conclusions concerning inconclusive karma, masking masochistic mosquito massages in masculine mosques, a must see mosaic !

The only good thing I can say about the 2018 presses is that they arrived clean and scuff/scratch free. suite-pee is completely non existent, like the pressing was so messed up where the grooves are all smooshed together, has anyone else happened to get a copy like this? this album doesn’t have a fantastic mix to begin with, regardless of medium- and this didn’t promise a remix so i’m not disappointed. System of a Down has sold over 40 million records worldwide, and two of their singles, "Aerials" and "Hypnotize", reached number one on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart. Also there are some traces of pink vinyl on my white pressing, which makes me think they used the same stampers for all of these unofficial pressings.

Comprised of various labels we know and love at Rough Trade (Bella Union, ATO, Speedy Wunderground, Phantasy, Heavenly, Mute and more) PIAS [Recordings] filter through some of the most diverse artistry to our racks, which we greatly enjoy digging into. that being said I wasn’t expecting a mind blowing pressing, and it wasn’t any worse than any digital version of this record. I somehow knew that it was a unoffical issue, you can see it from the poor cut on the edge of the vinyl, it's sharp! Mine says Made in Mexico as well and there weren’t any hype stickers on it as the pictures in Discogs show, but was sealed. Picture at the cover is in deed enlarged but, dude, this is about 2 decades later and picture still original.

Pressing is considerably quiet, with a really small amount of noise, barely noticeable apart from the first bit of the hidden track. Quite why it took so long is a mystery, especially with the amount of shitty bootlegs that have been floating around for years. A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential. it sounds fine, perhaps slightly more warm and dynamic than digital but not a mind blowing pressing.Almost bought a transparent green version of this from a record fair, until I realised it was a bootleg. This album deserves a 2xLP release from the master tape, or at least an analog source (safety tape, etc). minutes in to the song there is a little bump of white vinyl and the needle gets knocked back, making it skip and infinite loop those few seconds. B7 is an unlisted track, although it gets mentioned on the tracklist of the backcover as "Aerials Contains A Hidden Track".
