About this deal

If your skin isn’t bugged by olive oil then ignore this bit of rambling 🙂 Have you already tried this cleansing butter?

I started to become interested in skin care a few years ago when my skin had become very badly dry and dehydrated, and after some help from the lovely Caroline I began a routine and my skin thank fully settled, but this sparked a real interest in skin care for me and since then I have become a bit of a skin care geek, I spend ages reading up on and ingredients and products and skin care has become a real passion of mine. Beautiful, long-lasting, stylish, flawless, shocking, catchy, elegant, professional – makeup can be anything you like, but the moment of makeup removing will surely come. Personally, I think if you have skin that is prone to clogging or acne, I don’t think this is the best product for you. And because I hate closing a section without having said something positive: It does kill all kinds of makeup.Ethylhexyl Palmitate (Skin Conditioning Agent), Synthetic Wax (Binder/Emollient), PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate (Skin Conditioning Agent), Olea Europaea Fruit Oil/Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil (Emollient), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter/Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter (Skin Conditioning Agent - Emollient), Caprylyl Glycol (Skin Conditioning Agent), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Parfum/Fragrance (Fragrance Ingredient), Aqua/Water (Solvent), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil/Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (Emollient), Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract (Skin Conditioning Agent), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster). Roman Chamomile - thanks to its phenolic compound had some nice soothing and skin toning properties. While I’m all too aware of the fact that harsh facial scrubs can leave skin compromised, I simply can’t part myself from this one. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. The Camomile Cleansing Butter is suitable for all skin types and includes Olive Fruit Oil and Shea Butter amongst the ingredients.

Once I'd started to rub the cleanser into my skin it turned from a set like consistency into more of an oil based product, I don't mean my face was suddenly like an oil slick, not at all, but other cleansers I have used have just spread around my face and not changed consistency, whereas this one does change into an oil, but that wasn't a problem at all. Then I hop into the shower, do my cleansing balm routine with a flannel and then finish off with my Vichy 😀 This isn’t for everyone, I’ll say. I have a very oily T zone and use it to take makeup off but sparingly – I wouldn’t use anything bigger than a pea-sized amount for my skin to get makeup off. Got this on discount but my wallet still feels painful since this is just sitting inside my “never-use-again” box . New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .I used the camomile cleansing butter in the same way as I use all my cleansers, I applied it all over my face, then removed using a flannel (face cloth) that I had run under hand hot water and wrung out. I do get sent products to try out, which I'm happy about because it means that I can be as up-to-date as possible with what's available, however I absolutely do not review anything that I haven't tried. They mention that it removes makeup perfectly, is a gentle balm, and works really well to cleanse and remove make up.You don't need to use too much of this so a tin should last you a little while - for balm cleanser lovers this is a very good budget version. These days, I’m all about cleansing balms because cleansing oils are far too drying for my skin and I find that balms work better on my dry skin. The shower gels dry out my hands and although this was promising since it came highly rated, it just didn’t do it for me.

It does feel like wax, too light in texture even for my normal combination skin and that waxy film left on the skin really bothers me. Ethylhexyl Palmitate (Skin Conditioning Agent), Synthetic Wax (Binder/Emollient), PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate (Skin Conditioning Agent), Olea Europaea Fruit Oil/Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil (Emollient), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter/Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter (Skin Conditioning Agent - Emollient), Caprylyl Glycol (Skin Conditioning Agent), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Parfum/Fragrance (Fragrance), Aqua/Water (Solvent/Diluent), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil/Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (Emollient), Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract (Natural Additive), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster). I really like that it comes in a tin, slightly annoying to put the lid on if you've got the cleanser on your hands but yay for no plastic and doesn't take up a lot of room in your washbag if you are travelling. This then, is a balm cleanser which comes in a large flat screw top tin and a consistency that reminds me a lot of shoe wax.It takes my makeup off, provides a nice slip for a quick facial massage to get the circulation going and offers just the right level of hydration while calming any existing irritation with the help of chamomile. I have been using Bioderma Micellar Water in place of my cleansing oil before using a foam or gel cleanser and I have to say that my skin looks clearer.
