It can get a bit over sentimental at times, I'm not keen on this in books but the story makes up for it. I have loved reading this series from the start it has been well written and at times has kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next in the seaside town of Cliffehaven. Poor Jim had to get used to civilian life and Daisy was very wary of Him as he was in competition for her Mum's attention and a stranger in her young life.

How good was it to meet up again with Peggy, Cordelia, Ron, Jim, Rosie and the others from the Cliffehaven series.
