About this deal

Players should, in turn, reveal their destination cards and add or subtract the points indicated according to whether or not that route was made. Then it is time to see who has made the longest continuous path, which is worth an additional 10 points. These replace the bonus points given for the longest routes. At final scoring, each player receives points depending upon 2 factors: the number of players and the number of merchandise cards. The player with the most gets the most points and each subsequent player gets less.

Harmadrészt, egyben legfontosabb változás, hogy megjelennek az állomások, amelyek segítségével egy-egy már befoglalt útvonalat tudsz felhasználni a kezedben lévő értékes menetvonalak teljesítéséhez. Összesen 3 állomás áll a rendelkezésedre ehhez. Elegáns módja a problémamegoldásnak. When looking at who has the longest continuous path, you should look at each colour in turn. Trains can pass through the same city more than once, but each train can only be counted once. If two (or more) players are tied for the longest train, then they each score 10 points. The complete set also includes a rules booklet that provides the instructions for two different games; one using ferries and ships while the other uses train only. It’s up to you how you want to play! Gameplay And Features The board itself is a good size. The map of the USA is a thing of beauty, highlighting main cities from Montreal and Vancouver to Los Angeles and Miami, with everywhere in between all connected by rail. The concept of the gameplay is complicated at first but satisfyingly simple once you grasp the mechanics of the game.

A word from the author

You may play this card to claim a route that was already claimed by another player. When playing this card, you must still play the correct number of cards to claim the route. If you are likely to forget to immediately score some of the routes you claim, we recommend designating a player as the scorekeeper; have him move all the Score Markers throughout the entire game, or at least prompt the other players to do so when they forget. The non-USA maps (and any expansions you’re using) remain available; if they include a route that goes through or into one of the new states, then it’s still there! This means that you can now take your train all over North America and beyond!

The ability for players always having access to their last claimed route which can be used each turn after it has been completed until another route is claimed instead (known as Train Stations). This allows you never to lose your trains even if they reach their destination meaning additional points at the game’s end! There are also some grey routes on the board. These can be claimed using any colour train card, as long as you play the right amount. For example, you can claim a grey route three trains long with three red train cards, or three green train cards. This map can be played with 2 to 4 players, but the double routes are not used in the 2-player game.Advanced Technologies can be added to the game for a more competitive experience. Note that the number of Advanced Technologies is limited. Locomotive cards (i.e. wilds) are especially important in this game. Any 4 cards can be played as a locomotive. When 3 or more locomotives appear in the available face-up cards, they are not discarded. On the UK side of the board, technology plays its part. You start out as a small train tycoon in England. At first, you can only build routes that are one- or two-trains in length. But if you spend the wild train cards, you then ‘upgrade’ your tech! Then you can build longer routes. Then you can start extending your network into Wales, Scotland and Ireland. There’s even bonus cards up for grabs, with other means to score points! This makes an excellent choice if you’re looking for something that everyone can enjoy without having different playgroups end up fighting over rules which can sometimes take place when trying other titles out there on the market. In addition, since gameplay only takes around 30 minutes max per round this version also requires far less time investment than full-fledged versions do allow players more freedom about how they spend their free time on any given day! Components

Some routes between two cities benefit from two train lines, however, these only come into play when there are three to five players. When there are just two players these double routes are not in play, and you will need to find another way around. When one player gets down to two or fewer trains left at the end of their turn, each player, including that player, gets one final turn. The game then ends and it is time to see who has won! De miért is? Amíg az Újvilágban egyik bevált taktika bizonyos útvonalak befoglalása és ezzel az érzékenyebb lelkű mozdonytulajdonosok „megbántása”, addig az Öreg Kontinens már más füstök fújnak.

Locomotives

This game has definitely changed my normal strategy of never drawing Locos from the open cards and hoping to draw them as Mystery Meat. You simply just need to have them at times, and they are such a valuable commodity, that I often find myself drawing them as my only card for the turn… on at least one of the spaces making the route. To claim a Ferry Route, a player must play a Locomotive card for each Locomotive symbol on the route, and the usual set of cards of the proper color for the remaining spaces of that Ferry Route.
